At this point in the relief process, funds are particularly needed. With the oncoming monsoon season, harsh conditions are expected in Nepal. The loosened ground surface and weakened slopes may see landslides exact further damage and the heavy rains bring greater challenges. People affected by the quakes are therefore seeking urgent solutions to prepare before the July rains.
