Equipment to improve Crossroads’ eco-efficiency.
Crossroads Village’s large, leafy campus produces a huge amount of green waste from trees and shrubs each year. As part of our eco-efficiency plan, we don’t want our beautiful environment to add to the problems associated with simply sending waste to landfill.
This ‘greening’ package includes equipment like the processing machines, storage, transport cages and compost bins that will allow us to turn the large volume of green waste we produce into compost for growing healthy, nutritious food, complementing supplies for the hundreds of volunteers we feed each week.
