Donate money

A monetary gift can help move goods valued at many times its own worth and, in this way, multiplies itself. Donations to Crossroads are tax deductible for amounts over HK$100.

The Crossroads Equation

"But how much of my donated dollar actually reaches the person in need?" That is the question most often put to charities regarding their financial policy. At Crossroads, the equation is turned the other way around. We do not send a percentage of a donated dollar to people in need. Instead, a donated dollar can be 'multiplied' up to 20 times its worth in the goods it allows us to send internationally. A donated dollar can be 'multiplied' up to 85 times its worth at the local level, where processing costs are far lower.

We love this cost-efficiency and are grateful to you for every donated dollar.

The following is an example of our current needs - large, medium and small.

Crossroads seeks, wherever possible, to save costs through donated gifts in kind. If you could help with the above by donating the needed goods or services, we would be delighted.

School projects

From time to time, schools approach us, asking for a project or need they can address for a fund-raising activity. If you belong to an educational institution, and would like to do the same, we would be glad to hear from you. You are welcome to contact us  for a list of project ideas as well as to discuss ways we can assist you with your project. In the past, students have raised funds through activities such as school dramas, variety concerts, student service groups, fairs and even a jumpathon! We, and those we are serving, are grateful for all such help.
