More than 2 million refugees from Syria have fled violence and hunger to neighbouring nations where they now face different, but also grueling battles.
Crossroads visited refugee families in Jordan and Lebanon, following a partnership with Harrow School, Hong Kong, and aid workers in the Middle East, which saw refugee children given warm winter clothes, toys and educational supplies.
Click through the photo slideshow to see the faces of just some of the children Crossroads met, who have been affected by the war.
Want to help?
Funds raised so far have helped 5,000 Syrian refugee children, but our partners have set a target to reach 5,000 more! For every HK$100 you donate, they can provide a pack to one refugee child, containing clothes and toys, and a photo message of support from someone around the world like you. Send us your photo and a sign saying ‘We Care for Syria’, at communications@crossroads.org.hk and it’ll be included in a pack for a Syrian refugee child. Click here to donate, and in the ‘What for?’ box, write ‘Syrian refugee crisis.’
