The drug Thalidomide, which caused tragic birth defects in the West years ago, is still freely available in Brazil and continues to have devastating results. One such victim, herself without legs, heads a charity to help equip a centre in Brazil for other Thalidomide sufferers. Crossroads is delighted to help furnish the centre.
