11) Promotional campaign for Global Hand/UN website
A global PR campaign to connect business and poverty.
This year, our Global Hand service launched a website in partnership with the United Nations. It is a ‘match-making’ site that connects companies with UN agencies to help address global concerns. Where a ‘match’ is not found, the companies can re-direct their offers through Global Hand to help people in need, worldwide. This is a massive project: we need word about the website to get out across the world. It takes money to hook up a disconnected world, but it is worth it.
